  Thailand, officially known as the Kingdom of Thailand, is a southeast Asian country known for its rich culture, major tourist destination. Thailand attracting millions of visitors annually. also its known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. Here are some facts about Thailand:



1.Geography: Thailand is located  in the heart of Southeast Asia and shares borders with Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. The tallest mountain in Thailand is Doi Inthanon which is located in Chiang Mai. The highest mountain of Thailand is 2,565 m/ 8,415 ft high. Mekong River is about 4,350 km/ 2,703 miles. Thailand is home to some of the oldest dinosaur fossils that were ever found in Southeast Asia. Thailand is about 513,120 km ( 198,120 sq mi ) which is the 50th largest country in the world.



2. Culture: Throughout the country the most important values that Thai people hold to are 'respect' ,'self- control' and a ' non-confrontational attitude'. Thai culture is deeply influenced by Buddhism, and you'll find numerous temples throughout the country. Thai cuisine is renowned worldwide for its flavors with dishes like Pad Thai and Green Curry being popular.

Chakkri Day, Chulalongkorn Day, the queen's birthday, the current king's birthday, coronation Day, the Royal Plowing Ceremony, Songkran ( the water festival ), Visakha Bucha ( Buddhas Birthday ), Krathong ( fastival of light ), Magha puja, Yi Peng Festival etc are the some Thai festival and celebration day.



3. Language: Thai is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas. Burmese, Lao, Khmer, and Chinese also spoke in Thailand.



4. Economy: Thailand has a divers economy with industries such as tourism, manufacturing, agriculture, and electronics playing significant roles. GDP in Thailand is expected to reach 511.19 USD Billion by the end of 2023, according to Trading Economic global macro models and analysts expectation. The Thailand economy has shown an upturn in economic growth momentum in early 2023, with first quarter GDP growth up by 2.7% year-on-year compared with 1.4% growth in the fourth quarter of 2022.


Thailand is known for its natural beauty, including stunning beaches like Railay Beach and Maya Bay. The Grand Palace, Wat Arun.Wat Phra Chetuphon, Chatuchak Weekend Market, and white Temple are the tourists attractive palace to visit throughout the world. Came and visit Thailand.
