Laos is officially Democratic Republic Country. Laos total areas 91,429 sq mi ( 236,800 sq km).  Laos is the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia. Laos is famous for its amazing scenery, ethnic villages,  and unexplored lands. Nearly three-quarters of Laos is covered in mountains and forested hills that are too steep to live on. Travel over the land is hard. Laos is one of the world's few openly communist states. It is one-party state and the general secretary of the Laos People's Revolutionary party holds ultimate power and authority over state and government. Laos is traversed by the Mekong River and known for mountainous terrain, French colonial architecture, hills tribe settlements and Buddhist monasteries. It is best known for some of southeast Asia's most spectacular waterfalls, including Tad Fane and Dong Hua. Laos is one of the poorest countries in East Asia, Laos especially in the north, and dense forests cover the northern and eastern areas. Laos is a great place to explore for easygoing parents and curious, adaptable children. Laos culture is  centered on the pleasures of life: eating, drinking, sleeping and chatting with friends. Laos Animism is a popular Laotian tradition , which is the belief in spirits known as  Satsana Phi. Phi can be spirits of building, localities or people and are celebrated at numerous local festivals and at spirit houses. Laos some interesting facts is Laotians are some of the shortest people in the world,Laos is socialist state, Laos is the most heavily bombed place in history, Laos is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia.

Total population of Lao people is about to 7,557,000. Laos is one of the poorest country in east Asia. Laos GDP  per capita is 2,535.62 USD in 2021.
